Aurum Cemetery

This cemetery is a very long way from civilization. I hiked about a quarter mile from the relics at Aurum to get to the cemetery. It's not a flat ground hike if you go overland and don't take the trail. On my way back, I wasn't paying attention and almost stepped on a rattlesnake. There is a historical sign at the cemetery that explains some history on the town. It also names some of the people buried here, to include those who were killed by the avalanche in 1884.
