Established in 1890. At the time that these pioneers were being buried here, Las Vegas as a town, wasn't even a thought yet. Las Vegas was simply a handful of cattle ranches, a Mormon fort and traditional Paiute land. Even into the 1920's and 1930's, Las Vegas was a very small town.
