Sunnyside Cemetery

While mining was prominent in the mountains around here, Sunnyside was traditionally a cattle ranching community. It still is today. When we first got out of high school back in the early 1990's, we started taking an annual Fall trip to Sunnyside to camp, fish and duck hunt. To this day, we've only canceled the trip once. Same group of people. This year we had nine show up. I know I'm supposed to be describing a cemetery, but Sunnyside is a second home to me. This place can get frigid cold in the winter. One year we had a low of 7 with 30 mile an hour wind. The wall tent and wood burning stove were worth the investment that night.
